Therapeutic services
The Center offers the most advanced, evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Our clinicians utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), including exposure and response prevention (ERP), habit reversal training (HRT), mindfulness training, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), in addition to family systems and emotion-focused therapies to treat a wide range of symptoms. Treatment modalities offered include individual, family, and group psychotherapy.

Trichotillomania (TTM) and Related Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) Treatment Program
The Trichotillomania and Related Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors Treatment Program utilizes state of the art behavior therapy, cognitive therapy, family involvement, and emotion-focused approaches to alleviate symptoms and improve self-esteem.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Treatment Program
The Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Treatment program utilizes state of the art techniques in the treatment of OCD, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (including exposure and response prevention), and supportive approaches to alleviate obsessions and compulsions and improve daily functioning.
Anxiety Disorders Treatment Program
The Anxiety Disorders Treatment Program is a specialized treatment program for generalized anxiety, panic disorder, agoraphobia, specific phobia, and posttraumatic stress disorder that improves coping skills, alleviates symptoms, and empowers the individual to control his/her anxiety, freeing the individual to more fully enjoy each day.

Compulsive Hoarding Treatment Program
The Compulsive Hoarding Treatment Program provides clients and their families with specialized cognitive-behavioral therapy, which involves helping individuals to change the way they think about and make decisions about their possessions in order to better manage this behavioral tendency. This process involves behavioral assessment, psychoeducation, exposure/response prevention, cognitive restructuring and excavation exposure. Treatment is collaborative and frequently involves family members or other support persons.
Police and Public Safety Services
The Center for Police and Public Safety Services of CEH offers specialized psychological services to law enforcement officers and other public safety professionals. These services, provided by clinicians with direct knowledge of this population, provide confidential clinical services to a population with unique and distinct therapeutic needs.
