Diagnostic Evaluations

CEH clinicians can provide expert diagnostic evaluation and consultation services for clients working with outside therapists, medical professionals, and agencies, whenever diagnostic accuracy is critical. Our diagnostic evaluations are produced by licensed clinical psychologists and clinical psychology post-doctoral fellows directly supervised by licensed clinical psychologists, affording the highest-level diagnostic expertise available (clinical psychologists are trained as diagnostic specialists).

Diagnostic evaluations provide a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s presenting difficulties and an assessment of current functioning, as well as the clinician’s diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations. Evaluations typically involve a clinical interview and may also involve, with client consent, consultation with family members, school teachers, or other health care providers.

Evaluations may also involve psychological testing. CEH clinicians are available to assist treatment professionals with any diagnostic issues. Knowing the problem is the first step in building a solution.
